A social gathering where sharing your own everyday stories and listening to others is made easy and fun! All you need is an open mind and a hunger for stories and new people. Our special storytelling guests, skilled musicians and open story sharing mic make the evening a heart-warming and thoroughly enjoyable experience! The café is organized by the Story Sharing 2016 project which helps immigrants, asylum seekers and Finns to meet and share stories together.

Would you like to meet people who have come to Finland from near or afar and talk with them? Or meet the mysterious folk who call themselves Finns? Would you like to hear fascinating stories spiced up with melodies and rhythms from faraway countries? Story Sharing Café is a new type of social gathering where sharing your own everyday stories and listening to others is made easy and fun! All you need is an open mind, and a hunger for stories and new people!

– Story sharing café – meet people from near and far round the coffee tables

– Open mic – stand up, grab the microphone and share your story!

The International Story Sharing Café is a part of the project ”Story Sharing 2016”, which aims to help people of different nationalities and cultures to meet each other by sharing stories from their lives.
