Three storytellers from widely different storytelling backgrounds come together to entertain and delight you in our humble storytelling space.
All the way from Finland travels Markus Luukkonen with his Finnish stories. Our Amsterdam Brit Simon Hodges tells tells us the tall tales of Finn McCall And Mezrab’s own Irano-Dutch Sahand Sahebdivani tells stories of… of…. Dol-phins? Shark-fins? Fin-ishing last?

Viime viikon vietimme Gentissä Belgiassa, jossa perustimme ryhmän 3Troubadours. 3Troubadours ja sen esitys “Mobile Dreams” on kiertueella Skandinaviassa 5-22.8.2015. Monikielinen aikuisille suunnattu tarinankerrontaesitys yhdistelee myyttejä, kansantarinoita ja henkiökohtaisia kertomuksia. Tarinoissa mukana hyppysellinen magiaa, huumoria, runoutta ja laulua. (Kielet: englanti, suomi, norja ja hollanti.)

Finland is a country of ten thousand lakes and an endless forests. It’s a country of Epic Kalevala and a land of heroe’s like Väinämöinen, Matti and Kullervo. Markus will bring stories from the Finnish woods to DISC!! The set of stories includes dreaming, more dreaming and some facts about reality.

AND there will be a special opening performance by the participants of our Beginner’s Course who will graduate in the very same day!!

DISC – Dutch International Storytelling Centre
Three storytellers, Torgrim Mellum Stene (NO), Markus Lukkonnen (FI) and Tom van Outryve (BE) are doing a showcase of their recently developed performance in a living room in Ekkergemplein in Ghent, Belgium. This is the pilot for the show they will be doing a tour with in Scandinavia in August this year.
